Induction

Well, we're finally back from a series of tests at the doctor's office, and Katie and baby are healthy. Everything is fine - aside from the fact that this child doesn't seem to want to come out! He/she is extremely active right now. Our baby was quite the show-off during the non-stress test.

After the NST, the ultrasound also produced positive results. Our baby's weight is estimated at 8lb, 7oz...and growing. Yeah...

Still, Katie's contractions do not yet have any regular frequency or strength to them. With the 42 week milestone approaching, it was time to start talking about the "i" word. So, we will be admitted to the hospital on Thursday evening, and Katie will be induced on Friday morning...

...unless something happens sooner!!
